Agassiz Harrison Aquanauts

The AHA Swim Club is looking for a head coach from May- mid August for the 2010 season.  We are a growing club with approximately 80 swimmers, aged 4 to adult.  Abilities range from current

 Provinical Champions to fun and fitness.  Please see our website at www.ahaswimclub.com  for an overview of last year’s season.  Our training facility is in an outdoor 6 lane, 25 meter pool located in the beautiful Fraser Valley.  We are also looking to add Water polo training to our club next summer!

 

Requirements:

 

• Minimum level 1 NCCP
• Excellent knowledge and implementation of the technical aspects of competitive swimming
• Supervise and work with assistant and volunteer junior coaches
• Good organizational, communication and leadership qualities
• Responsible for training including stroke correction, dry land, starts and turns.
• Attend swim meets and provide support for swimmers as well as follow-up during practices
• Responsible for swim meet submissions and newspaper write ups
• Clear criminal record

 

 Wages are competitive and relate to experience.
