The Revelstoke Aquaducks are presently accepting applications for head coach and assistant coach for the 2010 summer swim season.  Duties will commence May 1, 2010 and run to mid-August.  Our club has approximately 60 swimmers including several current Provincial Finalists and medallists; in addition, we support the development of many swimmers who desire a less competitive swimming experience.  The ideal candidates will have their Level 1 coaching certification and have experience with competitive swimming. This is a full-time position with duties both in the early morning and in the late afternoon.

 

Revelstoke is located within the Columbia Mountains in the Interior of British Columbia, 641 km east of Vancouver, 415 km west of Calgary, and 199 km north of Kelowna. Situated on the Columbia River between the Selkirk and Monashee Mountain Ranges, Revelstoke has a spectacular setting on the main east-west transportation corridor through British Columbia; Revelstoke is the ideal location for outdoor enthusiasts and is home to the multi-million dollar Revelstoke Mountain Resort Ski Area.

The Aquaducks Swim Club is based on the philosophy of establishing, operating, and maintaining a summer activity for young athletes through the promotion of competitive swimming. During the winter maintenance program, we hope to continue developing our swimmers, asking them to put forth their best effort and to strive for excellence.
