The 2009 BCSSA Coaches Conference, “Putting the Pieces Together,” focuses on developing athletes with strong technical skills. Coaches will hear from knowledgeable speakers in competitive aquatics discussing new stroke techniques and innovative training methods. Organized by the BCSSA Coaches Committee, this year’s conference will be in downtown Vancouver from May 1st to 3rd. We hope that all regions and clubs in the BCSSA will be able to send coaches to the conference to support the growth and development of coaching in the BCSSA.

This is the one opportunity for coaches to participate in professional development in the 2009 season. This year’s conference, as in past years, will be split into Junior and Senior streams and for the first time will incorporate a Diving section for all diving coaches.  Topics will be relevant and interesting for coaches of any age group or experience level. More information will be posted as speakers are confirmed.
