Minutes of Annual General Meeting

August 4, 2000

1.  MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING

The minutes of the Annual General meeting held, August 8, 1999 were approved.  Motion by Gary Payne, seconded by Craig Slater.                                                                           Motion Carried

3.   REPORTS

 

Regional Director

Thanked all for a positive year & wished all the swimmers good luck this weekend.  Written report attached, which also outlined a few issues that she would like to see addressed next season.

 

Assistant Director

Hytec System has been set up to run parallel with ASSist for Regionals.  Will be stepping down as Assistant Director.  Thanked everyone for all their help.

 

      Registrar

Registration summary for all clubs attached.

 

Director of Officials

Lots of clinics this season. Have been encouraging officials to work on their Senior pins.  Marshalling clinic to be held Saturday morning at Regionals.

 

Treasurer

Regional budget and July financial statement presented.  Financial statements accepted as presented.  Motion by Gary Payne, seconded by Craig Slater.                                   Motion carried

 

Secretary 

Not present

 

Coaches Representative

Colleen will be stepping down and Myna Moriega will be the new coaches representative.

 

Equipment Manager

Plungers in place; Remax tents have not shown up for Regionals

 

Water Polo

Active clubs are Crescent Beach & Surrey

 

Diving

No active diving clubs in our region

 

Synchro

Active clubs North Delta & Crescent Beach.
