MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING:
The minutes of the meeting held February 3, 1999 were approved. Motion by Debbie Durocher, seconded by Don Roberts. Motion Carried

REPORTS
Regional Director
The BCSSA are instigating a "Pool of Fame" to be awarded to members with up to ten years service, i.e., a coach, an official. Please bring to Bob's attention if you have anyone in mind. The Provincial Information Package has now been adopted. There are new age locators out and all Presidents should have received them.
Assistant Director - No report.
Treasurer
[Bob reported in Amelia’s absence.] There are outstanding provincial fees for diving. Delta Diving Club are querying the bill. They hope to get it straightened out.
Registrar
Registration packages were handed out to all the clubs. Club affiliation fees need to be brought to the Club Registrars’ clinic on March 24, they also need to bring their registration manuals. Winter maintenance fees can also be given to Winnie at that time.
Director of Officials
Murray Lunn is filling in for the position as no-one else has come forward at this time. Maybe White Rock could fill the position as almost each club in the region has a member on the Regional Board. Murray will help whoever takes on the job. Murray is putting on a Stroke and Turn Clinic at Winskill Pool, Tsawwassen on Sunday, March 7 - 4:00-6:00 pm, all clubs invited.
Secretary - No report.
Coaches' Representative
[Colleen sent an e-mail to Bob Munro.] The deadline for the Coaches’ Conference is March 12. Colleen would like to see as many coaches from our region going as possible, 100% turnout. She is also looking for a list of all the coaches hired in our Region for this year and would like to know who is still looking for coaching staff.
Water Polo - No report.
Diving - No report.
Synchro - No report.
Clubs -
Boundary Bay		Registration is on Saturday, a Stroke & Turn Clinic on Sunday
Cloverdale		No report.
Crescent Beach		No report.
Ladner		Please note the correct telephone number for the Vice President is 946-5445 (it is printed incorrectly on the Executive List). Registration is on Saturday for returning swimmers and the 27 March for new swimmers. Ladner have 27 swimmers going to the White Rock Mini Meet.
North Delta		Packages have gone out to returning swimmers - they anticipate a high return rate. There are 140 swimmers in winter maintenance and expect over 200 swimmers for the summer season with probabley 100 of them being under 9-years old. North Delta's swim meet date has changed to June 26/27.
Richmond		Winter maintenace is ongoing, registration will be held in April. The Provincials are on track
Surrey		Cruising along with winter maintenance. The motion to spend money on the timing system has been forward and the parts have been ordered.
White Rock		No report.
Delta Diving		No report.
ANY OTHER BUSINESS It costs about $9 to put a rule Book together. (See Motion 1) Bob questioned whether we would need a regional meeting in April - it was decided to miss April out and have the next meeting in May. Murray Lunn attended the Clinic "Safe Stops" which covered topics such as the screening process when interviewing coaches. Murray would like to put something together in a condensed form fot the clubs, certainly before hiring coaches, maybe next fall. One thought is to put on a workshop and invite Sport BC to come out. A reminder about the Auction and any donations from clubs.
