Fundraising - Bingo Information

In order to meet our financial obligations, while keeping registration fees to a minimum, it is necessary for each family to participate in fundraising programs. At registration, every family submits an undated cheque that will be kept on file with the Haney Neptunes Vice President-Bingo. If there are more families than dates that need to be filled, a draw will be conducted after registration to fill the dates. Families who completed a Bingo date the previous year will be put on a second list to use only if we run out of families. If a member fails to show for their turn, the cheque will be cashed. Without this commitment from every family, we would have to forfeit our Bingo slot and swimmer registration fees would have to go up to over $500 per swimmer per season. Emergency replacement Bingo fill-in parents are being identified. This service provides the Origination Bingo Family with an opportunity to identify a replacement in emergency situations through Vice-President-Bingo.

If you wish to become a person on the reserve or fill-in list, please contact Vice-President-Bingo. The fill-in people will be called in the order they sign up. If the Vice-President-Bingo is unable to directly verify your participation for a specific Saturday, the next person will be called until someone is found. In the event no one is found to fill-in for your specific date, you will be notified after the list has been exhausted. This is strictly a courtesy from the Vice President-Bingo. You are ultimately responsible for completing your BINGO OBLIGATION.

No person under 18 may fulfill your BINGO OBLIGATION.

Thank you to the Provincial Government for their continued support in the form of a monetary Grant to help pay for our coaching.
