Facilities |
Separate 4 lane 25 meter teach pool for warm ups and cool downs
(must be supervised by coach).
Snack bar with healthy snacks located on site.
Numerous restaurants located within walking distance from the
pool
Camping available at the west end of the pool.
Spaces for RV’s will be designated by a first come first serve
basis for a charge of $10.00.
Campers please do not arrive before 5:00 Friday evening. RV’s
will be arranged on the 224th side of the camping area
Camping also available at a Provincial park area at Maple ridge
Park.
Day tents can be set up on area west of pool by the Zellers
parking lot. Tents are not to be set up on other than designated
are due to underground sprinkler system.
Speakers are only on the west side; day tenters on the south
side of the pool by Zellers will be responsible for keeping
track of the calls to marshalling.
There is plenty of deck space around teach pool inside for
“hanging out.” |

Parking |
Parking is available in the underground (keeps car cool) lot for
a cost of $3.00 per day. No over height vehicles. Parking for
over height above ground across from the Courthouse (off Edge
Street) for $3.00 per day. Please do not park in the Zellers
parking lot. The Neptunes are not responsible for any parking
tickets acquired during the meet. There is no parking in the
City Vehicle spaces on the west side of the pool. |

Each competitor may enter 6 individual events and 2 relays. |

Meet Entries |
Deadline for entries is May 30, 5:00 pm. Could all clubs please
include a contact person and phone number. Please use the meet
entry file provided on the web site.

Entry Fees |
$3.00 per individual event and $4.00 per relay event. Deck
Entries will be accepted at the discretion of the Clerk of the
Course at $5.00 per event. Early scratches and late changes will
be accepted by Sunday June 3, 5:00pm by email or by leaving a
message at 604-466-5168 between 7:00 and 8:00pm. |

“O” Category Swimmers |
“O” category swimmers can only compete in “O”cat events. There
will be “O”cat relays in the meet package, or the division 8
relays are open events to all swimmers. One “O”cat swimmer may
swim per each divisional relay and must be clearly identified in
the entries. |

Scratches/Deck Entries |
Please have deck entries/scratches handed in to the Clerk of the
Course by 7:30am each day and relays in by 10:00am each morning.
Depending on time and volume limits acceptance of any deck
entries is at the sole discretion of the Clerk of the Course. |

Rules |
All BCSSA rules will apply.
All events will be swum as timed finals.
No DQ’s for 6 & under events.
Relay teams may use swimmers from lower divisions as long as one
team member is from the entered division.
“O” cat swimmers will be entered in to the appropriate event
(see “O” Category). Division 8 relays are an open event.
At this early meet in the swim season it is important to make
these events as enjoyable a possible. Please enter as many new
members and young swimmers as possible. The more the merrier. |

Starts |
No false start rule in effect. Should a false start occur the
race will continue and the swimmer will be disqualified at the
end of the race. |
|
Officials |
Volunteers are required from all clubs. A 4 shift sign-up sheet
will be posted and should be completed prior to 7:30 am. Each club is required to supply:

Awards |
Race results will be posted on the north facing outside wall of
the building. (near main entrance)
Individual aggregates and runner-up winners in the “A”, “B” and
“O” categories will be recognized with trophies.
3rd, to 8th place ribbons will be awarded for A & B
6 & unders will receive goodie bags and participation ribbons.
Relay ribbons 1st to 3rd will be awarded.
Most Sportsmanlike Club trophy will be awarded to the club
displaying the strongest attributes that would be termed as
sportsmanlike.
