REGISTRATION
Fees are due at registration and must be completed prior to participation.
Only “registered” swimmers are allowed in the pool due to strict insurance rules.
You may register by mail or in person. The registration dates are:

Development
classes will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
*Please note there are two new categories
This is for returning swimmers who are unable to commit to the full training program as they either have work commitments, are finishing High School or are attending a Post-Secondary institution, but would like to swim up to 3 times per week. They are also eligible to compete at swim meets.
WATERPOLO
Any swimmer from transition and up can play waterpolo Fridays.
New swimmers must have a Birth Certificate and a BC Health Card number (MSP)

Entry Requirements for Development Levels
Development A
Swimmer must be at least 4 years old, enjoy and be comfortable in the water and
are just able to swim width of the pool with any form of stroke.
Development
B
Swimmer has completed Pikes Development A or can already swim a length of the
pool.
Transition
Swimmer must have completed Pikes Development B or can already swim a few
lengths of the pool. They have the ability to perform front crawl and
back crawl with confidence for at least 1 length, perform recognizable
breaststroke and butterfly and perform a shallow dive followed by 2 continuous
lengths.
